St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church & Burial Ground
St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, also known as Old St. Mary's, is a historic church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is located in the Society Hill neighborhood at 248 S. Fourth Street, between Spruce and Walnut Streets.
St. Mary's was the second Roman Catholic Church in Philadelphia. It was built in 1763 as a Sunday Church to be used by the parishioners of Old St. Joseph Church. The cemetery was established in 1759, prior to the church being built.

Burial of Mathew Ivory (born about 1765)Mathew Ivory (born 1809) and his brother Isaac were baptized at Old St. Joseph's on 26 August 1810. This baptismal records is the only document that shows both Mathew (Sr.) and Ann McNulty together and the only document that provides her maiden name. This is also the first record that documents Mathew (Jr.) and his life.
