Hurst Street - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Hurst Street is where Ann McNulty and the two little boys lived after Mathew's death in 1812
Today Hurst Street is called Randolph Street. It is just north of where Grissel's Alley was, so when the streets changed names over the years, they ended up calling it Randolph - so it is an extension of Grissel's Alley.
The street today doesn't appear to have any old buildings from back in 1814 when Ann McNulty would have lived there. All of the buildings look like they are within 50-100 years old.
Ann was found in the city directories on this street in 1814, 1816, and 1817. After that she disappears from the directories (as an Ivory). It remains unknown whether she remarried, died, or simply moved out of the city with the children around this time.
