21 December 1844 - Marriage to Ann Drinkwater
Edward Webb Phillips and Ann Drinkwater were married on 21 December 1844, just a couple days before Christmas. They were married in St. Mary de Lode in Gloucester. The marriage record showed Edward was a minor, but Ann was of "full age." They were both living in the parish of St. Mary de Lode at the time of the marriage. Edward was working as a Waterman at the time of the marriage.

The first U.S. Federal Census Edward and his family appear is in 1870. The family was living in Morgan County, Utah Territory. Edward was 45 years old and his wife, Ann, was 50. They appeared to have six children also living in the household. - Last updated 21 May 2017

1880 - Residence (1880 U.S. Federal Census)
In 1880 Edward and Ann were living in West Porterville, Morgan County, Utah Territory. This was a very small community north east of Salt Lake City. As the Mormon pioneers continued to come to Utah, many of them spread out across the state.
