Loppington is a village and parish in Shropshire, England. The village has a rich history and many historical buildings, including the Church of St. Michael, dating back to the 14th century and having traces of a Norman building with characteristic Norman architecture.
The Church was the marriage place of my 4th great-grandparents, Richard and Elizabeth Kynaston. Their son, John Kynaston was born 30 June 1829 (according to his obituary) and christened at St. Michael on 19 July 1929. Richard and Elizabeth had six known children, all of them born in the Loppington area. Richard died in April 1843 and was buried at St. Michael on 12 April 1843. Elizabeth lived another 40 years as a widow until she died in early 1883 in Loppington.
