My Family Genealogy Website
This website is dedicated to my genealogy. It is a place where I share with others who my ancestors were, what their lives were like and what events happened in their lives that made them extraordinary people.
Who Am I?
My name is A.C. Ivory. I am a professional genealogist, technology geek, and passionate about finding who my ancestors were and what made their lives unique.
I got "bit by the genealogy bug" back in 2006. The rest is history - literally. I have been sleuthing for my ancestors ever since. Not only have I conducted thousand and thousands of hour of research (between my own family and working on client's genealogy) I also strive to present the results of my research in a fun and creative way. I have seen far too many boring family group sheets, research journals, and plain research reports that make even me, a professional genealogist, bored to look at them and read them. I am an extremely visual person. Don't just give me the names and dates of an ancestor, but show me photos of them (if available), maps of where they lived, photographs of the places they lived (if available), and give a splash of color to your research documents. The more fun and inviting your research will look, the more the younger generations (like me) will want to learn who their ancestors were.

Recent UpdatesI recently went to Philadelphia and visited several of the historical sites. My 4th great-grandfather, Mathew Ivory, lived in Philadelphia and likely married his wife, Ann McNulty, there. Together they had two children, Mathew Ivory (born 1809) and Isaac. I was able to visit the streets the Ivory family lived on, and most of them had original building from the early 1800s. Check out the pages related to the Ivory family and places in which they lived!
